IMS XML AGREED IMS, a global coalition of more than 250 technology vendors educational institutions, and government agencies, has released a draft standard of their new XML for creating questions and tests. The new standard will mean that people can now write future-proof questions, portable from one application to another system. It will enable divisions within corporations to share and exchange question banks without having to use the same delivery system.
